  1. I have searched for an hour on google at el…and found nothing. Many blogs like mine have the image. I suggest you copy and past to your desktop and see if you can make a print. Keep searching Art Prints of UK if you can. The painting may be in Cheshire Bangor Cathedral, North Wales there was one reference there. But I couldn’t locate the artist or painting. Maybe you can.
I found this reference too: From Fr. James B. Simpson and George H. Eatman’s A Treasury of Anglican Art (New York: Rizzoli, 2002). Courtesy of Mr. Eatman. But it lead me no where.
Good luck. Check out “Doubting” by John Granville Gregory on Google Images. You will find that this is a modern try at copying the famous Caravaggio‘s The Incredulity of Saint Thomas as you will see the scene is almost identical, however with modern men. Check it out.

  2. I saw this beautiful painting yesterday in Bangor Cathedral, together with ‘Why?’ by the same artist, showing the deposition from the Cross and also based on Caravaggio. The Cathedral shop sells large and small prints of both images. Bangor Cathedral, Cathedral Close, Bangor LL57 1RL

    • Thank you so much Robert. I’ve been asked by others where they could get a copy. Your information will help others. So thoughtful of you to post for us. Thank you.
