It occurred to me once again as I thought of the sun shinning through the windows in church this morning, that when light shines into the darkness of a room it isn't really the light we see itself, but what happens due to the light shinning is that we can see multitudes of fine dust particles floating around in the air. Hummm. A great analogy to the reality of our lives as we are broken by life's experiences and we allow the Light of Christ to flow into our lives we somehow so easily focus on all the debris. But be assured that will all be swept away in time; rather, we must keep our focus on the light as it warms and fills us with greater discernment, understanding so that we are able to accept forgiveness and renewal and to give it also to others more freely just as we freely receive the light–forgiveness. It is in the Name of Jesus Christ that we receive this holy forgiveness, this cleansing, the newness of a life now and fullness to come.
"Joy cometh in the morning" is the message in Psalm 30:5. And truly we are in the morning of a great cosmic reality; the resurrection Life of Christ. Our promise in the resurrected Life in Christ is proleptic (the representation of something in the future as if it already existed or had occurred; prochronism. ) We are already living in the "Kingdom of God" in this sense; we have the seal of the Holy Spirit on our hearts (2 Cor 1:22; Eph 1:13; 4:30) of that which we know now in part but then in full (1Cor.13:12); we will be in his likeness (Psalm 17 )and in Jesus' words, that we be where he is: see John 17:24
24 Father, I will that they also whom thou hast given to me be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory which thou hast given to me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world."
Happy Day! What a wonderful freedom we share!

For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. from Biblegateway.com
